How to Encourage Visitors and Readers to Subscribe Your Blog?   Leave a comment

Usually, when a blogger steps in his blog with his first post, he wants more and more people to see his post and wants them to contribute their comments. At that moment his entire focus is the traffic and soon as he realizes that it takes some efforts and SEO strategies than he goes for everything that is within his reach. However, in couple of months the realizes the ultimate truth that beside having thousands of visitors in his blog, there is one more thing that is more important and determines the actual worth of his blog and it’s his “Blog Subscribers”.

Blog subscribers are the actual treasure of the blog and the real value of the blogger’s effort. Although, I don’t mean to say that traffic is less important, but rather than having thousands of visitors with zero subscribers it is always better to have thirty visitors a day with hundred subscribers in a week. Thus, your blog subscriber rate determines the quality of your content and how informative it is for your readers.

Therefore, in this post I will be sharing some important tips that can help encourage your blog visitors and readers to subscribe. However, the content of your blog and the information you share must be very unique and highly beneficial for your readers, as it is the strongest reason why anyone subscribe to your blog.

How to Encourage Visitors and Readers to Subscribe Your Blog?

RSS Icon:

Your RSS icon is the only thing that can give your blog visitors and readers the opportunity to subscribe your blog. Although, many blogs have the email subscription option, but RSS is one that is easy and highly preferred by visitors because it is less time consuming and can be done with clicks on your mouse. However, many bloggers simply ignores this treasure and are less concerned about its proper placement that later becomes one strong reason for not having better subscribers even after posting hundreds of great posts.

Hence, place your RSS where your blog visitors find it easy and attention grabbing; it can be above the fold of your blog or even in the header section. You can even use highlighting colors for your RSS so that your readers will not miss the spot. Furthermore, it is also impressive to use medium size RSS rather than using smaller ones because using medium size RSS simply encourages your visitors to subscribe.

Subscription Process:

It is very essential to have a short subscription procedure and should be two or three clicks subscription route. Making your subscription procedure long and making readers to fill unnecessary forms, highly discourages your readers and they are more likely to quit in the middle. I have also notice in some blog where the RSS process includes a small usability testing. Although, RSS is one key place where visitors are more likely to click and bloggers might think it is a good place for usability testing too, but it is not. Practicing such in your blog can simply annoy your readers and you will be losing quality subscribers from your blog.

Being Active:

Blogging and sharing your information sitting at the corner of your blog is the laziest and hardest way to achieve traffic and subscribers. Thus, it is essential for bloggers to participate in reputed forums in their niche and share ideas; it is also one strong traffic source to your blog. Participating in forums and even making comments in other blogs of your niche helps other bloggers to know about your blog and they can simply share your content in their blog, this generates quality traffic and eventually leads for higher subscription of your blog.

Guest Blogging:

Guest blogging is another quality source of gaining higher subscriptions in your blog. Although, guest blogging might not be that easy because often you have meet the bloggers writing skill level and the content you pass should be informative. However, submitting some of your best content can widely help you to grab the attention of the mass on your niche. Guest blogging is an effective way to demonstrate your writing skills and share your ideas to drive huge traffic to your blog and make them subscribe. Hence, I highly recommend you to participate in SEO guest blogging ways which can also provide your with quality backlinks for gaining better search engine rankings.

E-books interest your searchers and often many visitors’ wants free e-books as it contains informative contents for readers. In the same way, bloggers have no trouble for creating e-books as they can simply add some new content and add some older posts of their blog that is highly informational and suits their reader’s needs. Thus, creating PDF e-book for your readers and visitors for subscribing your blog can be amazingly helpful to increase your number of blog subscribers. Such practice of free e-books distribution for subscribers have been done and proved beneficial for both bloggers and the subscribers. Hence, it is also one effective way to that should be practiced to drive huge traffic and enlarge your blog subscription.

Blog Content:

Your blog content is what makes your readers and blog visitors subscribe to your blog. So, no doubt your content should be very informative and with compelling content titles. Similarly, your blog design and provided links should also be sound because it gives your visitors a user-friendly environment that is essential. Nevertheless, one good reason to encourage your readers to subscribe to your blog is by making daily updates. Blogs with infrequent updates demoralizes the visitors to subscribe and it also hampers your blog visibility in SERP. Regular quality information source is where the information seekers are more likely to be interested and subscribe.

I hope the post was good enough to help you understand the necessity of RSS feeds position and blogger activeness for generating quality traffic to their blog and encourage them to subscribe. I will come with something else tomorrow foe you.

6 Essential Google Adwords Tips for Beginners.   2 comments

Google Adwords is one highly recommended SEO tool for generating quality traffic to your website and boost your online businesses. And it is also one complicated experimental tool that needs proper tests to determine the best result. However, for new users of Google Adwords it might be confusing and often a waste of money because they simply fail to get the most out of this amazing tool and often end up losing money, time and traffic at the same time. Hence, in this post, I will be mentioning about some wise practices of Google Adwords for beginners and those who wants the best results out of this amazing SEO tool.

  • Target Your Audience:

Targeting the right audience is one effective way to utilize your Adwords campaign for greater success. Thus, target your campaign by selecting the appropriate region and language. For instance, targeting your Ads among those audiences who do not understand English is always a bad idea. Similarly, you can also avoid those regions where your ads are not much welcome, like advertising Western wedding dresses in eastern regions—you are hardly going make any sales.

  • Using Keywords:

Keyword plays a crucial role in the success of your campaign. Using broad keywords can lead to campaign failure, especially if you are new to Adwords. Hence, optimizing your ads with relevant keywords that exactly defines your product and the searchers is highly recommended to employ. For instance, if your keyword is wedding dress than your ad is likely to pop out any time when searchers uses the keyword in any order. Although, it might be helpful for huge organizations and experienced ones, but it is not to be practiced if you are new to Google Ads.

  • Testing:

Testing is one effective way to trace your important keywords that can help you generate quality clickers. Thus, it should be done simultaneously and performed regularly. Use at least two ads simultaneously which is also known as A/B split testing. It helps you to determine in which ad you get the quality traffic and helps you to omit the use of unfertile ads. A/B split testing should be performed regularly, as it is the key for tracing the best ad that suits your products and services.

  • Including Ads with Keywords:

Always include your targeted keywords in your ads by placing them in the title and description. When your searchers scan the result, your keywords are highlighted which helps to drive the attention of your users. Such ads with included keywords in the title and the description are more likely to earn quality traffic and ROI. Furthermore, it is also highly suggested to include words that excite the searchers. For instance, using “Free” “Sale” “Discounts” etc motivates your users to visit you.

  • Cut and Paste Words:

Words or the sentences that help you to define your business, which outstand you from your compititors, should be included. Such tag lines can sometime work more than your targeted keywords. For instance, Amazon includes the “Earth’s Biggest Bookstore”, it simply gives searchers a reason to click. Using such taglines or USP (Unique Selling Proposition) is an effective method to boost your Adwords campaign. Furthermore, avoid using stop words that simply dilutes your ads like on, in, at, a, etc.

  • Optimize Your Landing Page:

Your Adwords campaign is highly interlinked with your landing page and optimizing your campaign is very essential. When your drive searchers from your ads to your landing page, it is extremely important to have an optimized and highly relevant page that gives the perfect impression to your visitors. The main goal of Google Adwords is to drive quality traffic to your website and if you fail because of poor landing page than your entire campaign is in loss. Thus, optimize your page with necessary information for visitors and provide them with links to keep them busy with their needs.

SEO Tips on Effective Keyword and Key-Phrases Optimization for Search Engines   3 comments

SEO is a famous term among webmasters, but the implementation of Search Engine Optimization is still least. Yesterday, I came across some web designers-web owners who have been working in this field of web and graphic design since 2003, but what surprised me was they are aware of SEO—the term—but the meaning is still vague to them and SEO implementation is out of the question.

Well, it is not a surprising story because there are many web designers and some are professional, who hardly cares what SEO really stands for. However, I drew some odd faces of SEO for them and they were even more surprise to know the correlation of SEO and Web design.

Thus, in this post, I thought of looking back to some SEO basic, but what really made me write on keyword density and its prominence is when I found on my blog analytics, that someone reached to my blog and left out because he/she was looking for some valuable contents on “method of calculation of keyword density”. Hence, to avoid such things to happen in future and add some basic of SEO to web designers and content writers, I clarify everything here:

  • Keyword Density:

One effective and must do SEO optimization on your content is the optimization of your keyword density. In simple words, keyword density is the percentage calculation of your keywords and key-phrases in relation to the volume of your content. In addition, this is one strong clue for Google and search engines to determine the theme of your website. Search engines are human made robots and they cannot read and perceive like human mind. However, these robots are calculative and such calculations help search engines to classify web contents and its theme for proper indexing process.

Keyword Density Calculation:

Let us suppose, an article on Data Recovery is of 1200 words and data recovery is the keyword that is repeated for 64 times in the entire article. Now, search engines simply determine this by performing following calculation:

Keyword Density = Keyword/ Number of words in Content × 100%

I.e. 64 / 1200 × 100% = 5.3333% Keep your keyword density from 3-6 percent.

Hence, in your entire content the keyword density of “Data Recovery” is 5.3333%

Now, if your keyword density is not well optimized in your content than the horrible situation comes when you write an article on Data Recovery, but you replace the keyword using pronouns often. In such case, the Google finds those particular words that been frequently used in the entire article and suppose it as the keyword. For instance, if the word “Suppose” is highly used than “Data Recovery” search engines are more likely to assume the keyword of the content to be “Suppose”. However, it doesn’t necessarily assumes the entire website working on the keyword “Suppose” because it crawls other essential part of your website like title tag, keyword tag etc, but it is sure that your content won’t appear when anyone use the keyword “Data Recovery” in Google. Thus, maintaining healthy keyword density in your content is very crucial for better visibility in search engines.

  • Keyword Prominence:

Keyword prominence is another important factor in your webpage that helps gaining better visibility in SERP and placement. Keyword prominence is the particular keyword that webmaster and search engine optimizers have given proper attention by implementing them in their title tag, headers, beginning of the paragraph and hyperlinks. These are the important SEO gauge of your website and Google highly depends on these factors to determine the theme of your website.

For instance, if you use the word “Data Recovery” effectively in the title tag, headings and in the beginning of the visible text than you are simply conveying search engines a message that the word used “Data Recovery” is the keyword you are optimizing for. Hence, placing keywords on such parts of your web page should be done wisely.

Furthermore, there are webmasters who knows the impact of keyword prominence in their website, but even after successful implementation, they find low visibility of their page in SERP. For them, I would like to suggest, avoid diluting the keyword prominence by simply tightening their keywords. For example: rather than using “Effective Tips on Data Recovery” you can simply use “Data Recovery Tips” if their keyword is “Data Recovery Tips”.

  • Keyword Proximity:

Keyword proximity is the key addition to SEO optimization and is equally important for effective on-page SEO. Keyword proximity is the close relevance of those keywords that your searchers are more likely to use in search engines. If the majority is of the searchers use “Blog Submission Directory” to find your website than to appear in a better place of your SERP it is very crucial to optimize your web page and content by using such keywords so that there remains nothing to confuse the search engines. For instance, if your searchers use “Blog Submission Directory” for the search and you are using “Great Directory Submission” than you are likely to get behind in SERP.

  • Keyword Frequency:

The concept of keyword frequency is closely related to the theory of keyword density. Your keyword frequency is the weighing of the keyword visibility in your webpage’s specific parts. In keyword frequency, search engines determine the number of times your keyword has appeared in the page and weighs it according to the specific areas of its emergence. However, it does not calculate your keywords as it does with the keyword density. Hence, if your keyword has appeared 64 times in your content than search engines count the keyword frequency as 64 times.

Nevertheless, it is very important for webmasters to understand that implementing high frequency or even the density of your keywords leads to keyword stuffing that is equivalent to spam creating. Thus, search engines are more likely to penalize your website for such act.

Similarly, it is also crucial to make your keyword appear in the important parts of your content. Google and search engines generally reads first 200 hundred lines of your content and not all to determine the page theme. Hence, it is highly suggested to use your major keywords in an organic way in the first 200 lines. However, it does not mean to exclude keywords after 200 lines.

How to Create Effective Link Wheel for Better Ranking in Search Engines?   5 comments

In Search Engine Optimization (SEO), I believe link building is one of the most rapidly evolving SEO strategies than anything else. From email request for reciprocating links to creating effective link wheels, SEOs are experimenting everything that can promise better ranking in short time with valuable boost up in SERP. However, we know that links are essential and one strong factor that have direct influence in our website placement. Therefore, link building techniques and evolving strategies should be well studied and implemented.

Link Wheel:

In short period link wheel has erupt as a strong and a promising link building technique among webmasters and search engine optimizers. However, it is also one struggling link building technique in SEO because many SEOs believe that it is highly promising link building strategy whereas many others argues that it is completely a black hat technique where you deceive search engines showing your money site a hub and more valued. Nevertheless, in this post, we are not discussing about its hat’s color rather I will be pointing out how link wheel is build according to SEO professionals.

Building Link Wheel:

Building link wheel is easy and can be done in instant, but all you need is some fresh content for the spokes.

  • Choose the number of spokes you want to build for your wheel. Where; Spokes are the number of web 2.0 properties i.e. the websites like: WordPress, Blogger, Squidoo, Ezine articles etc.
  • Let us say you want four spokes in your link wheel then you will be writing four unique and fresh contents for these four web 2.0 properties and post them in your four spokes that is web 2.0 properties.
  • Now, you will link these entire web 2.0 articles making a one-way link structure.
  • Pass one link of your Squidoo article to your main website or blog and the other link of Squidoo article to WordPress. Again, pass one link of WordPress to your main website and blog, whereas, the other link goes to the Blogger and so on.
  • In this way, your main website or blog will be getting one-way links from every other web 2.0 properties page. However, it is better to use at least 6 to 24 spokes in your wheel and not less or more than that.

Although, you create your page on high-ranking web 2.0 properties, but at first the pages ranks zero. Yet, it is fruitful than engaging your own website and blog because pages of such web 2.0 properties are more likely to get high page ranks in short time period than your newly launched websites. Furthermore, even if they are not ranked for certain time and cannot pass you the link juice but it can drive quality traffic to you website that is more essential than a page ranks. You can also use article-submitting directories like and to post unique content and link them to your page on Squidoo so that it can gain the page rank soon. however, if you are too tired of writing original contents than simply link to your Squidoo page with social bookmarking websites like or which is equally helpful.

Title tag Optimization Best SEO Practices   1 comment

Title tag is one essential part of your website that needs effective SEO optimization. Your title tag being one important part of your webpage that search engines crawls to distinguish you from others, title tag optimization should be done with caution. A title tag should be 62 to 70 characters long and should contain your major keywords to define your business and the page to search engines and traffic.

However, webmasters often ignore them and simply looses the entire benefit that their website can get just by self-optimizing the title tag. Hence, in this post, I will mention about title tag optimization for effective ranking and solving your branding issue online.

  • Keywords:

Keyword placement in the Title tag is vital for both search engines and search traffic. Because the title tag weighs more in search engines, it is crucial for better ranking and gaining visibility in SERP. Similarly, title tag helps search traffic to determine what the page is about and same is true with the search engines. Hence, your title tag should contain all the major keywords that you think your searchers are more likely to use and search to find the services and products you offer. However, the keywords that you use in the title should also define the page at the same time. Use your brand name in the title, as it is very important and effective for branding purpose in online marketing.

  • Keyword Recurrence:

Avoid keyword recurrence in title tag because title tag is a 70-character sentence that defines your page and recurrence makes no sense. However, using synonyms is highly beneficial and one effective way to avoid recurrence and being title rich. Similarly, do not use the same keyword in any other page of your webpage. Many people thinks that title tag should be same in every page, but it is not so. Every page should have its own unique and keyword rich title tag; recurrence can lead to duplicate content issue that is highly SEO unfriendly.

  • Stop Words:

Using stop words or conjunctions in the title tag is useless, and should be avoided because it simply consumes more characters in the title tag hinders in keyword placement. Furthermore, even search engines avoid these stop words when they search their index for relevant results. Hence, it is not fruitful. Attempt to use pipelines to separate your keywords from one another, so that it looks beautiful and in the same time easily readable.

  • Using Location:

Another important keyword for your website title tag is the location. Although, it is not “must do”, but if your e-business is highly focused for locals, or you want to attract consumers to your local store via online marketing than using the name of the city, and other important location is better. Furthermore, as already mentioned that search engines weighs title tag with greater value, when your location is placed on the title tag than you are more likely to appear whenever web traffic use the keywords with the location. It also promises a real buyer rather than just a surfer.

  • Branding:

Branding is very important and is one important factor of businesses that often they want their SEO’s to optimize their websites for branding sake. If you do not have a strong business and if you are running just a blog than branding is nothing to be worried about. However, if you have big enterprises and you want people to know your products and services with the brand name like Nike and Ford than using your company name in the title can help you in effective branding implementation.

  • Domain Registration:

If you have already registered your domain than just be sure it advertises your business. SEO effective domain name is crucial for effective SEO implements because it matters search engines and the web traffic. Using long domains creates confusion in web visitors and chances are high they do not remember your name even if they want to locate you in Google. Hence, find something short and remarkable.

Furthermore, avoid using underscores and too many hyphens in the domain because it simply confuses your visitors and even search engines do not like it much. Use domain that is unique and defines your business or is synonyms. Search engines crawls your websites URL so it is always a good idea to avoid unnecessary words and implement SEO effective URL.

  • Set the Goal and Assets:

Setting the website goal is very crucial and something often misunderstood. Many webmasters often launch their website, but later they realize; what they are advertising is not what they really wanted. It can also happen to your website, so it is better to work out now rather than to regret later. Find the core goal and not just the surficial. If you have figured out your core motive, stick on it and do not try to be a website that is jack of all, but master of none.

Search engines tend to reward those websites and blogs that speak one language of content i.e. wedding cards, wedding cards, wedding cards, if you are on a wedding card business. Hence, whenever you add any new content in your website let it be about the wedding card.

Furthermore, adding assets is adding quality content that demonstrates your skills and talents are very essential, as it will serve your website as a highly worth content because readers and web surfers always wants the best out of the listed one in SERP. Thus, if your quality and creativity outstand you from the herd; you do not need any SEO efforts for running and performing your online business.

  • Keywords and Key-Phrases:

It is very essential to include your keywords in your content and maintain the density. Your used keywords and key-phrases is what that tells search engines the core theme of your website. Google and search engines assumes that, a highly repeated word in the content should be the keyword that the website should be indexed because when you mention about web designing in your content frequently than the topic you are discussing should be web designing and not about pizza recipes. Hence, implementing keywords and key-phrases in your website content is essential and webmasters should be very aware of the content-keyword and SEO effective keyword implementation.

Using appropriate keyword density and keyword frequency is essential but I highly suggest you to avoid using unnecessary implementation of  keywords because it leads to keyword stuffing and that is a crime in search engine marketing.

You can use WordPress as a blogging platform because WordPress is one of the best places for blogging and is highly SEO friendly, even Google’s Matt Cutts has recommended it.

  • Website Silo:

Siloing website is a most effective SEO technique to boost website ranking and have effective index, but it is also one extremely ignored SEO strategy. Siloing your website is simply managing and categorizing the content of your website so that when search engines crawls the website they can easily determine the theme of your website without having any diluting confusions.

Siloing are of two types: Virtual Siloing and Physical Siloing, implementing any one of the Siloing can help your website rank effectively and is very essential if your website includes more than one subject. For instance, if your website sells wedding cards and birthday cards than Siloing helps search engines to know that your expertise are in both the keywords and key-phrases, thus the search engine ranks you accordingly. However, in the absence of proper Siloing in a website, the content of the websites get mixed up and search engines and even your visitors will have a hard time to figure out your actual theme and goal of your website.

  • Building Links:

Links are the vote for your website and quality links helps search engines to assume that your website has valuable content, thus other website links to you. Although, at times, many SEO’s criticizes the links but link is an essential and should not be underestimated so always try to acquire links from those websites that shares a common theme and avoid unethical link building techniques any link buying or link farming strategies which can harm your website in a long run. Launching effective press releases, adding quality contents, building reciprocal links are very essential and should be perform time to time.

All the above-mentioned points are essential techniques of SEO and must not be omitted at any cost. Implementing these five SEO strategies to your website can boost your ranking and placement.
